Writing styles

A topic’s style fixes the shape of its articles — how long they run, whether they carry headers, whether they use lists. It never changes what an article covers, so you can switch a topic between these at any time.

Standard — 400–600 words

Explainer — 600–900 words

Story — 500–800 words

Focused — 300–450 words

Bullets — 250–400 words
